Deva works with leaders to identify their true goals, finding alignment with the goals of their organisation, and co-designing win-win solutions to help the leaders. He enhances the leaders’ awareness of the impact they create (often despite their intentions) and helps leaders align their behaviours to achieve the desired impact.  

Deva coaches regional business leaders, country managing directors and high potential leaders. His coaching style is solution-focused and keeps the client’s development interest in mind as well as the overall client value proposition.  

He collaborates with his clients in an effective way via reflection, discovery and action toward gradual change and optimised performance. He explores positive possibilities with his clients to overcome obstacles which are self-limiting and emotions which impede them from performing at work. 

Deva’s strength is also in his storytelling. Audiences are highly engaged by tales of his own experiences as a line manager accountable for regional and global outcomes. 

Clients find it easy to be comfortable with Deva, to trust him, and to take action accordingly.

Leadership Development, Coaching & Consulting Experience

Deva is the Managing Partner for TPC Leadership SEA and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

Having managed HR Departments and coached Leadership teams in various industries, organisation cultures and unionised environments, Deva is experienced at both strategic and operational HR and at leading, coaching, mediating, consulting and training in the government and private sectors. 

His work has taken him to many places across the Region (SEA, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc). His regional experience and work for Global companies makes him a very open person, accepting people as they are and working with a diversity of people to help them be their best.

Other Relevant Experience

Due to his wide understanding of leadership and HR, Deva was invited to sit in the Advisory Board at Heriot Watt University (Malaysian Campus) where he is also an Adjunct Lecturer and lectures Human Resources for their MBA program.  

Deva is experienced in facilitating virtual training sessions with global participants. He has delivered training programs covering topics such as change management, talent development, HR business partnering, employee relations, right work environment, diversity & inclusion and leadership development. 

Deva has worked in and delivered training for many industries including telecommunications, technology, aviation, media & entertainment, oil and gas and the government.
